Are CPUs Reusable

I have an AMD FX-6300 CPU, and I know some CPUs involve the smashing of pins into the socket on the motherboard, and I was wondering if I bought a new motherboard, I could use this CPU in it... thanks!

You don't smash the pins in... They're holes. The pins go in the holes. They slide in.

You should never "smash pins into socket" you hover above and drop. That is how you get a cpu to not work. They are reusable if you get correct socket to use.
