Hi, I am planning to buy a graphics card either nVIDIA GTX 750 2GB DDR5 or AMD R9 270x 2GB DDR5. Just wanted to know if these two Graphics will work on my Mother Board. Its Gigabyte GA-B85M-SD3H. Other Specifications

Intel i5 4440
DDR3 8GB RAM
600W PSU

The type of memory on a GPU has no bearing at all on wihether it will work on a certain motherboard or not. All that matters is the motherboard has the correct PCIe slot for it to plug into. And to that end, all modern PCIe slots made in the past 8 or more years are backwards compatible with any modern PCIe GPU.

The main concern one should have when jumping to a better GPU is if the PSU you have is capable of supplying power to meet the requirements of the new GPU. If that condition is met, then you should have no problems.
