About 2 Months ago I fried 2 8gb sticks of G.skill Trident Z RGB 3600mhz C18 Memory. It was absolutely my fault, and a result of my own ignorance. My question is, is there any point in keeping these around? The rgb strips on the sticks are still functional, but the memory itself is not. Should I just throw them away?

Solution
Never throw away components as they contain materials harmful to the environment.

Memory usually has a lifetime warranty and you can try sending them back in. If they won't warranty them, just tell them to keep them and I'm sure they'll reuse or recycle the parts for you. :)

As mentioned above, and I can personally vouch for Gskill, they respect their lifetime warranty.

Also you couldn at least keep the heatsinks, they're cool lol
