Hi guys.

What I'm wondering is whether or not if the brand DeepCool is any good for power supply units. I know Corsair is highly reliable but there's far too many model makes and types for me to choose from and Corsair has at least 17 different fully-modular 850 watt models (according to PC part picker). What I'm looking at in particular is the DeepCool DQ850-M-V2L and the PQ850M for 850 watts and fully-modular.

In terms of what my build will have, will they be good for this:

AMD Ryzen 7 series
AMD Radeon 7800 XT
MSI standard ATX motherboard

Is DeepCool reliable or what? Will they last a long time?

Not really sure, would have to research the units. At the prices I am seeing, not much reason not to buy Corsair.

Corsair RMx, TX, AX, and to a lesser extent RM and RMe PSUs are the good ones from Corsair. CXm (modular ones) is adequate for lower power machines. The new 2023 model CX and CV models are to be avoided for all but the most basic systems as these are an old design.

If buying new today, I recommend mostly ATX 3.0 supplies. Since they have the characteristics to handle more recent GPU power demands and have the 12VHPWR connector. You don't need that with an AMD card, but it may be useful in the future.

Corsair RMx supplies have available Type-4 cables to support 12VHPWR, but again, not something you need today.

Other good ones would be MSI MAG A series, Thermaltake ATX 3.0 GF and GX PSUs are okay.

Deepcool PX-G looks interesting.

I'll see who makes the Deepcool units at least.
