Are G.Skill RAMs worth the price?

I was looking for some 2x8gb ddr4 rams, and I came across some gskill ones. They seem to be a bit more expensive when compared to corsair's or avexir's (2 other brands which I'm considering)

anyone has had experience with gskill rams? and are they worth it?

Usually they are cheaper than Corsair.
Ripjaws - worth it
Tridents - not worth it

If the Corsair are cheaper, go with those.

What's the difference between the trident and the ripjaws?

Ripjaws are consumer RAM with speeds from 2133-3200MHz
Trident Z are enthusiast rams ranging from 2800(Ithink)-4000MHz

Difference is the even bigger heat spreader and marketing.
Not worth the extra cost when within it same speed range.

Ahh, thanks for the information. As for corsair RAMs, do the dominator platinums have any advantage when compared to the vengeance LPX, other than pure aesthetic purposes?
