Are Gigabyte laptops good

I'm wandering if gygabyte laptops are good. I'm looking at the GIGABYTE P35Xv4-BW2 for gaming and video editing. It has a i7 5700hq, 16gb, and a 980m 8gb with a 1tb hdd and 128 ssd. I like that it's small and I realize that the 15" size means it will get hot. As long as it doesn't overheat. It will be fine.

I think some folks here have had good experiences with them. Me I have a deep seated hatred of Gigabyte after owning more than 1 motherboard of theirs that was buggy junk. IMHO ASUS, Acer, MSI all make much better gaming laptops.

K I was looking at a msi with the same specs. But it's a 17", 200 more and isn't a portable. Is I can't find anything small with a 980m I'll probly go with the dominator pro.

You don't want a thin, small laptop with the 980m stuffed inside, unless you are a masochist. Then you may very well enjoy it.
