Are gpu fans intake or exhaust?

Are gpu fans intake or exhaust?
Just wondering, I always thought it sucks in air and push it out the back.
But after check my gpu it seems to just push the air back into my case

They are neither unless its a reference blower style of GPU. They just blow air around in the case. Reference coolers blow air out the case - but not very well.

GPU fans grab air and push them into your heatsink, which then blows out the sides of it. So technically I would say that they're intake fans
