News Are graphics cards subject to new U.S. tariffs of up to 125%? It isn't entirely clear yet

I read on some news site that assembling a $1000 iPhone (16 Pro 128GB?) in the US would result in a price tag of $3500.

IDK if that includes the cost of setting up a factory and logistics chain to make it happen.
And, again, you can't just plonk down a production chain and expect it to work within a month or two. This isn't Cities Skylines.
 
I think I stumbled across a similar claim, but don't remember where. That said, if they didn't explicitly state what details were included in that calculation, it's going to be questionable at best.

But, yeah, it's not like moving to a new apartment or anything. This stuff doesn't happen overnight.
