Are included Power Supplies With Cases Reliable?

Is it worth the extra money for a reliable power supply or save a bit of money with a case that included a power supply?

Usually the psus included with cases are garbage. But there are exceptions. A good psu is cheap insurance. PSUs are very important yet often overlooked. They ate the heart of the system and a poor choice here can literally ruin the whole system.

Buy case and PSU separately, then you're not losing out on choices for either of them.

a simple way to judge psu is comparing its "capacity claim" with its 12v rail wattage or by its weight, however i do agree most pre-included psu's are trash, but some are good or atleast decent
as long as it isnt a generic psu with fans in the back claiming to be a 600w psu (those are only 300w max) it should be "okay"
