I have a prebuilt gaming PC which came with an Intenso Sata 3 SSD, upon looking it up I noticed that it's a lesser-known european brand and I also noticed a couple reviews on amazon claiming that they fail pretty quickly (the reviews said anywhere between 2 months and 1 1/2 years). So I was wondering if I should buy a better SSD from a well known brand and clone my data onto it to avoid an SSD failure, or am I safe?

ALL storage devices are subject to fail.
Yours might die tomorrow, it might last years.

The only way to protect your data is with regular, automated, backups.
Replace it when it dies.
