So i bought a 500gb kingston ssd and when i got it my dumbass thought that you were suppose to unscrew the screws on it to install it later because my brain had a unexpected stroke so i took the "warranty void if sticker is removed" off and then i realised how you actually do it and then it came to me i ** up my warranty and after that while trying to install it i was trying to remove the damn connector from my old sshd disk but i got the wrong idea of how its suppose to come out of the disk so i pulled the wire for 30 minutes kept looking at it then i said ** it ill do it later put the screws back and turned the laptop on and i got a error message so i knew that i broke the connector and my last 2 braincells decided to call dell so i called dell and said that the connector was stuck inside my old disk they said they never had something like that happen and they said that since i wanted to put a new ssd in there myself without help from dell i had to pay some money instead of the 0 dollars i pay normally because i still have warranty even tho they dont even have to touch my new ssd which i dont understand why that makes a difference in price but ok so i kept thinking for 2 hours and decided to go on youtube and realised my stupid ass brain made a false memory so while i remember a guy in a video pulled it out by the wire in the video i remember it from the guy never even touched the connector so i ** up my warranty on my new ssd and broke the connector and now im waiting for the undamaged connector to arrive so i can finally put the sdd in there and install windows and get the performance i was suppose to have on my laptop 2 years ago and i was wondering what are the chances that the 500gb ssd i got is broken? I know its a dumb question but my luck is the worst like i never got something like a phone or a laptop that works like its suppose to for example i got a new gaming laptop i7 + 1050Ti + 8GB ram + 1TB SSHD and it costs 1250 dollars for 10 days i had double the fps i didnt think was possible to reach (i had 60 fps on gta 5 on ultra settings) then 20 days after that i got a new error EVERY SINGLE DAY and became mentally unstable and realised the disk was causing this ** for 2 damn years so if theres a person who buys alot of kingston SSDs can you please tell me how often the ssd is damaged right after you get it?

Personally I would stay away from Kingston drives but it should be OK as long as you didn’t physically break it
