Question Are laptop DC Power jacks model-specific? Have to replace mine

Sorry if it's a stupid question. But I cannot find a supplier for my laptop's (Acer V3-575G) DC Power jack. So I was thinking maybe getting another (Acer) model's power jack?

1. Are DC power jacks model-specific?
2. How do I know which ones are compatible?
3. What are the risks of doing this?

PLS NOTE that I am NOT referring to charging brick/laptop charger. Thanks in advance.

You can replace your DC power Jack but just make sure the charger will fit and that its the exact same specs as the original laptop Charger says.
