are low settings for games on my pc better than ps4?

i will be using amd fx6300 radeon r9 280x and 8 gb of ddr3 ram i will be playing at 1080p on single monitor i wll be playing current games like ac4 or watchdogs at high settings and i will put settings to low for future games if my gpu can't play any higher so low settings on game on my pc would be better than ps4 graphics???/

It is difficult to say what future games will play like on the PS4 or PC....depending upon the manufacturer of the game, they may optimize it for PS4 and/or the PC.....so it could look better on one or the other one....or both....
