[SOLVED] Are measurements of GPU's and fans exact?

I am looking on the used market for a 2080 Ti and have found an option for a good price, but I have an issue.
I need to know if the measurements given for a graphics card and for fans are perfectly exact or not.

Because if I go by the numbers, I wouldn't be able to fit the GPU into my case.
I have the Meshify C TG, and without any fans at the front, I get a total supported length of 340mm
But I have the Kraken X62 mounted at the front, and according to the specs, the rad and fans together are a total of 56mm leaving me 284mm of space for the GPU.
The GPU in question is a Gigabyte Gaming OC which is supposed to be 286.5mm in length meaning that according to the numbers I would be short 2.5mm for a perfect fit.

So I need to know if these measurements are perfectly exact, or if they happen to be inflated by a millimeter or two.

Thanks.

Kinda depends on how you measure exactly. And how the manufacturers measure.

Fans are supposed to be 25mm, but often are 26mm due to the rubber antivibration corner tips etc, plus you have to consider exactly how a rad is mounted. For instance if it's in push, and the fans are outside the frame, underneath the front cover, then their depth isn't counted, only the 30mm of the rad is inside. If they are mounted pull then the fans are added. For some cases.

Fractal says 315mm with fan, 30mm rad, so 285mm technically or 284mm to be safe. That's cutting it extremely close either way.

I'd opt for a slightly shorter gpu.

Count on a rad being 30mm. They generally use 20mm cores but need to leave room on the casing for screw depths or...
after taking a ruler to my GPU I measured 266mm instead of the reported 269.2mm on the spec sheet.
This is leading me to believe that maybe the manufacturers bump the numbers slightly to ensure that you have clearance when fitting components into spaces, at least in regards to GPU's.
I have yet to manually measure my AiO thickness, but something tells me it might be a slight bit smaller than the specs would say it is.
Hopefully this will lead me to be ok to get the Gigabyte card.

Count on a rad being 30mm. They generally use 20mm cores but need to leave room on the casing for screw depths or risk hitting the water tubing. Some rads measure in at 28-29mm total, but count on 30mm.

I'd try to leave as much space as possible, or any movement or flexing or even installation/removal runs the risk of damaging the aio. Gpu might go in straight, but I've never seen one come out straight.
