Are Microsoft gift cards same as XBOX gift cards?

Forza Horizon 3 is coming out on the windows store by the end of september. However, I was wondering if there is perhaps a 'gift card' for the store currency. Is it the same as the xbox gift cards I see in the stores? or is the microsoft store currency a completely different currency from it? thank you very much

There is no gift card for Microsoft Store, but there is for xBox giftcards to purchase the xBox Store products. So yeh totally different products
