Are Motherboard Drivers Preinstalled?

Solution

The BIOS setup utility is separate from drivers...
The motherboard doesn't store it's own drivers, no. Windows comes packaged with a set of common drivers and Win 10 is particularly good at finding others through Windows Update though that's not exhaustive as there are too many components in use to have built-in support for all. The board should come with a DVD, and newer versions could be available on the mobo manufacturer's support website.

So as soon as I have built the PC, I can just boot to windows, go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers for my motherboard (how will I use these downloaded drivers, is there just an application that I run?).
Do I need to worry about the disk that comes in the box and if I need to install stuff from the disk, how would I do that?
Also, can I enter the motherboard's BIOS without installing any drivers?

The BIOS setup utility is separate from drivers (which only apply to the OS). The disk that comes with the box should have all the needed drivers, but the ones on the website may be more recent versions. To run the disk, put it in the disk drive and run the utility.
