Solution
With a cat, wood fibre isn't your main issue, it's fur, take it from someone who had 4 of them in the house!
Try to find out exactly what case the system is in, many have filters in their intake (front) fan locations, others often have a mesh front, either way it's a really good idea to keep them clean, especially with a cat in the area, a vacuum cleaner is your best ally here .

Also check the graphics card, in fact the entire system interior for dust build up, and clean as required.

A few hints:
DON'T ever use a vacuum cleaner inside the system case, it's fine to use one on the outside, but not inside. The high airflow creates a strong electrostatic charge in the plastic tool/brush and the tool/brush can damage or snag the tiny parts...
first, please share specs, form that i only see a gtx 1060

second, that list of results is a bit confusing and i don't see the gpu temperature, only cpu at almost 60°c which is a bit high

is that under load?

can you use hwmoniotr please? post those results, a bit more ordered i think, or a screenshot of open hardware monitor

i'm seeing 80°c on the cpu, not it is not safe, it is a temperature that is forcing your cpu

what case do you have, heatsink on that cpu, fans on that case

is it a old machine, form the cpu, sounds like a 4 or 5 years old machine, have you replaced thermal past or is it using the original thermal pad on the original heatsink?
 
Looks like the system was at idle when the photo was taken, the CPU speed is low as is its core voltage, but are these readings typical of those you see with the system at idle, PandaBear88?
The CPU fan speed is also much lower than I would expect to see with an Intel cooler, at 80C I'd expect to see the fan at 3500RPM or maybe more, so I'll guess you have a non stock cooler installed?
But whatever cooler is installed, if you're seeing 80C at idle, something needs to be done, and quickly.
Most obvious first actions would be to clean out the CPU cooler and fan, if its fairly clean then I suggest you pop it off and replace the thermal paste and clean it while it's off, that way you can do it outside to avoid spraying fine dust all over the house.
 
i don't know the case, heatsink, or fans. my brother build the computer around 4 years ago. i think i replaced the thermal paste before but im not 100% sure.

i'll clean the computer asap.
one problem i can imagine is my cat likes to scratch the desk next to the computer and a bunch of wood dust gets all over so that might have gotten into the computer. hopefully cleaning it fixes it.

If you have access to a high pressure airline, try not to use it, the high airflow creates an electrostatic charge, it can dislodge parts, particularly the motherboard chipset coolers and can also overspeed fans, damaging their bearings.

By now all computer shops sell cans of 'compressed air' it's safer than an airline and non toxic, just be aware that is you are asthmatic the dust can trigger an attack, so use it outside.
The gas is actually a liquid, it'll get very cold as you use it, so short bursts followed by a minuet or so to allow it to recover, and don't worry if some gets onto the circuity boards no harm will be done, just allow a little time for the liquid top evaporate and the effected part to warm up a bit before carrying on.
