Hi,
So I just installed a new (used) gpu, an rx 460. So I went on AMD's website and downloaded the adrenalin driver auto-installer thing. It removed the pre-existing drivers etc., and restarted, and then began the install, however at this point it got stuck on 0% install progress, for a long time. Seemed like nothing was happening, so I just closed it and decided I'd try to download the correct drivers manually later.
However, when I came back to my pc, my screen, which had been low quality, had returned to normal good quality, and CCleaner, which wasn't recognising a gpu, was now recognising the rx 460...
So, what happened?? Did it automatically install the drivers?
Did the fact that I closed the adrenalin programme not really close it and it kept installing?
My main question is:
How do I know if the correct drivers are now installed and my gpu is good to go?
Thanks.
