Are my i5 8600k temps normal?

I have just builded my first high end rig, or I guess high end. But thats not the point. I'm more curious if 35c is normal idle temps with Noctua NH-D15 and while gaming the temps usually stay around 50-60c. And the processor is not overclocked. Just running at stock settings.

I think that’s normal, I assume that with stock you’d be expecting around 75-80c so yeah

Your temps are normal. For long time 24/7 usage I would recommend to stay under 80 - 85 degree celcius.

Your NH-D15 is an excellent cooler, and will serve you well.

Here's the operating range for Core temperature:

Core temperatures above 85°C are not recommended.

Core temperatures below 80°C are preferred.

Core temperatures increase and decrease with Ambient temperature. Standard or "normal" Ambient (room) temperature is 22°C or 72°F.

Under load, my i5 8600k is at ~50°C. I am overclocking at 5 Ghz. Normal temps under this overclocking for idle is ~30°C.
