Are my parts compatible?

Yes it is, the C7 Cooler won't be much better than the OEM Intel cooler so I would recommend the H7 instead.

Yes but seriously considering getting a i5 8400 or even an i3 8100 (which is basically the new i5 7400) instead. Coffeelake is the new socket so if you build it the way you are it will be hard to upgrade down the road. You'll need a different motherboard but everything else will work just fine.

Looks compatible, but if you have the cash, I would up the 1060 to the 6gb version so more games can be played smoothly. Just a suggestion...

Right, so basically if I ever wanted to upgrade to a coffee lake processor, I'd have to get a new motherboard?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to get the h7 instead as what I've seen from reviews it's pretty good for the price.

Yup. The i5 8400 is about 200 USD (depending on sales and rebates sometiems cheaper) and a much better processor then the 7400.

If cost is an issue a i3 8100 is about the same in performance as the 7400 but cheaper at about 130 USD
