I've picked out all my parts for my first PC build, and I wanted to know if it was a good rig, and if it all the parts were compatible.

PC Specs:
Case: Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower Case
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3.5 inch 2TB HDD (should I get two hard drives?)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast 850W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer

What suggestions do you have? Thanks

They are compatible but, You are undervaluing you video card if you plan on doing alot of gaming on graphic intensive games. I would recommend a GTX 770 which is the cheapest card on the market that can max out any game at 1080P with a good frame rate.

Ya, a beast system like that with a wimp GPU. I suggest what jeffryeson said. Later on down the road you can SLI the 770's. And instead of two HDD's (If you can afford one, but with that build I don't see why not) get a SSD. The bigger the better. I have two SSD's myself, one just for OS / Programs and other dedicated to just games.

Once games use more than 4 threads it gonna want the i7 for its 8 threads.. Just saying it's conning sooner than later.. And this is a nice set-up but Im curious as to what case your going to get to fit in the mobo you'll choose.. Is the asrock 6 going to last for more than three years??

^Why in the WORLD would you think that it's coming sooner than later? And why do you think a i7-4770k would help? Even if the game did for some reason support 8 threads, it would also have to support hyperthreading, and the i7's hyperthreading is nowhere near the performance of an actual 8-core processor.

On top of that, games are lucky to be dual-threaded, because they're mostly console ports and the average user only has a dual-core processor. Those that are quad-threaded are the exception to the norm. It's going to be a while before we have 8-threads being used well in a game, so why waste your money on it now?

I don't know why you say "case to fit the motherboard you choose" - it's just a standard ATX motherboard; any mid-tower ATX case will fit it just fine. And I don't know if you think the asrock extreme 6 is made of cardboard or something, but why should it last any less time than any other decent motherboard? It's a good option.
