I want a compact casual gaming rig but i have a very limited budget, around 600$. These are the parts i picked:

pcpart picker

  • CPU: intel i5 6400
    mobo: asus h110m-a d3
gpu: asus strix gtx 750 ti oc 2gb
    ram: crucial ballistics sport 2x4gb
psu: corsair vs builder series 450w
ssd: OCZ SSD Trion 150 Series, 240GB
    hdd: Toshiba 3.5'' 500GB SATA3 7200RPM 32MB
case: deep cool smarter mini case

Can you tell me if all of my parts are compatible? Any suggestions to optimize the rig?
i'm mainly concerned with the motherboard. Can i overclock cpu and gpu using this mobo, might be a stupid question but is ddr3 even compatible with skylake processors?

also what should i know about picking a wifi pcie card? or is it better to just buy a cheap usb adapter? i have no illusions about huge speeds.

(if it says anything to you i'm gonna play all sorts games like borderlands and assassins creed but it would make me a happy camper if i could run star citizen)

Thank You.

Solution
- Upgraded i5-6400 to i5-6500
- Changed board to Asus DDR4 board.
- Changed memory from DDR3 to DDR4.
- Deleted SSD to upgrade video card. Added Seagate 1TB drive.
- Upgrade power supply from VS to 600B.

The SSD is too much of a luxury for a low budget build. An R9 380 will play games far better than a 750 ti.
