Hi,
I've been having experiencing a lot of blue-screen crashes recently and my laptop is feeling hot around where the CPU area is presumably located. My 8 gigs of ram are being eaten up by firefox and chrome (about 60- 80 tabs open) and my PC has been slowing to a crawl recently
I ran Malwarebytes and nothing was found.
I ran a CPU temp test and this is what I have with just firefox/chrome, skype and MS paint ( to get the screenshot)

These temps are night when it's cooler so I'm sure it's hotter in the afternoon.
I have one of those usb fan trays that are placed under the laptop and cool from the bottom. However, it's meant for a 15" tray while my laptop is a 17" machine. So not sure how much cooling it's getting done; better than nothing though.
This is a "gaming" laptop and I haven't ran a game yet. I'm afraid it will fully scorch the insides.
So are these temps okay?
Are there any tests I can run to see if my ram is working as intended?
Thanks.
