Question are new msi power supplies bad?

hello. i just bought a msi a850gf and and i read in amazon reviews that about 15 people says their pc wont turn on after installing this psu or after some months of using their pc wont turn on and damaged other componets. is that true? or they just trying to defame the msi? i am feared to install this power to my pc according to theses reviews.

Most of the reviews on Amazon rate it bad, which might indicate a faulty lineup(series) or a faulty batch of units. If you have access to other well known brands like Seasonic or Corsair and you're able to return the MSI, then might as well do it instead f casting doubt on your investments.
