[SOLVED] Are refurbished motherboards trustable

Solution
First thing I look at is who did the refurb. In this case it's manufacturer refurbished and tested.

The second thing I look for is WHY it needed to be refurbed, as a general search of reviews of the "original" product listing.

I would absolutely trust Newegg (can't speak on the shipping to Canadistan), but have no clue if the motherboard is a good model.

Solution
I found this ASUS TUF gaming x570-plus WIFI motherboard refurbished on newegg.com and I live in Canada.
Is it fine to buy such refurbished motherboards and will it ship to Canada?

Depends entirely on why it was refurbed. Some places actually dump a return that came back open on the manufacturer's lap. In some cases the board really was hurt. It just depends. But seeing as how it's Newegg selling these boards ................ I wouldn't give it a second thought. If the board doesn't work, they'll take care of it.

This is just a reseller on Newegg. Not sold by Newegg.

Manufacturer tested...OK.
Missing parts, not OK.

A lot of the items on Newegg are like that. But they've always taken care of every issue I had with anything I got from them. UPS left a laptop I got from them who knows where once, and they even covered that. Three months later the wife found it under some junk below the back porch. No way was that Newegg's problem, but they took care of it.
