Are RTX 3070 laptops much faster than RTX 2070 Max Super laptops

Well I recently picked up a Maingear element 3 with a 2070 max super and now I realized there are laptops coming out with 3070 gpus around the same price I paid for the element! I'm still within my refund window though, is the performance difference between the 3070 and 2070 mobile chip all that high? I couldn't find any benchmarks that compare the two directly. The laptop I'm looking into is the gigabyte aorus 17G to replace the element but if you know of better offerings that will soon hit the market I'm all ears!
