Are SAMSUNG phones safe now? (Samsung galaxy A5 2017)

I ordered my samsung galaxy a5 2017 beacuse I love the phone and I saw alot of positive reviews.
Than I saw the disaster that samsung had with their batteries.(The phone explosions) I wanted to ask if they are better now and safe? Is my samsung galaxy a5 2017 gonna be safe to use?

Those problems were mainly an issue for the Note line. Your phone is fine.
