When you save and create a save-directory structure, is it
self-contained? If I were to give somone the full contents of a save of
a custom module, would they have everything they need to play that saved
game?

If the answer is "Yes", is it still "Yes" if the module uses hak paks?

How about if it uses stuff from the override directory?

A savegame contains a complete copy of the module, all local variables
that have been stored in that module during the course of gameplay and a
copy of the PC's character file. It does not contain any custom content
used by the module that is in a Hak or the override directory.

Is this also true for the official campaign and expansion pack modules ?

It would explain why my save directory has grown over 3 gigs 😉...

Gasp!! That's the equivalent of about 275 standard game saves! ;-)
