Question Are some USB 3.0 cables for PC faster than others to transfer files?

The question is for USB 3.0 cables between an external HD and PC, whether laptop or desktop. Are there certain brands that will transfer files faster (imagine the same exact files on the same PC) than others when the cable length is the same. Let's say up to 3m or 10ft.

If it is labels usb 3.0 it should transfer files at the same speed as other usb 3.0 cabels. As long as they are on brand they should all transfer at speeds the same. Any slight difference would not be noticeable at all. Even the ones that cost 1k transfer basically at the same speed.

On ebay, who is "they"?
There are hundreds of sellers, each with fancy ad text, saying theirs is the bestest in the world.
Ad text is cheap.

"they" would mean any seller who is an honest one selling a true USB 3.0 cable. Are generics pretty much the same as the store-bought retails? This Q is for knowledge since retails are not much more expensive anyhow and those delays from China are ridiculous.

ASsuming they are non-crappy cables, they would work fine.

The problem with fleabay is twofold.

1. Finding an honest seller
2. Not knowing the crappiness until you get it
