Question Are speakers dangerous for a TV or other electronics?

I know that speakers can generate magnetic fields. How do I know if my speakers pose a threat to my TV or other electronics? If speakers are "shielded" does that make them 100% safe? How do I know if my speakers are shielded?

For example, I've got a speaker up against my TV and a router sitting on a subwoofer. I want to make sure this is safe.

Your TV, phone, and some monitors have speakers built-in with minimal if any shielding. If they posed a threat to these devices they wouldn't be included.

old cathode ray tube TVs and CRT monitors would distort near magnetic fields. the speaker shielding is to prevent this allowing the speaker to work near the TV/monitor. flat screens do not respond in the same way.

Don't worry about it. Speakers Magnetic Shielding is a thing of the past affecting CRTs.

Put the speakers on stands facing forward, they way you have them setup the audio is being sent to the sides which will not sound as good.

i most def would not put that speaker next to the tv like that if you play music that has alot of bass or any similar, the vibration can harm internal parts on the tv
