Are the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming 8G & 1080 Gaming X 8G PCB the same?

I want to watercool my MSI GTX 1080 Gaming 8G so I need to know if anyone can verify that it IS or is NOT the same PCB design as the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X PCB, because EKWB will be releasing a GPU waterblock for that particular non-reference PCB card sometime in the next week or two. I don't have my hands on the card yet (Should arrive within the next few days) so I can't verify for myself if they are compatible. Thanks in advance!

This is the one I purchased:

If you look at the product display pictures they show the PCB being identical to the Gaming X...but that's the issue, they use the EXACT same photo for both products it seems. So that makes me unsure if perhaps they just used the Gaming X photos as placeholders for the Gaming non-X product...chances are that they are indeed the same, just wanting to know if anyone can confirm before I end up purchasing my GPU waterblock from EK
