Are the new coffe lake cpu's presented this week immune to Meltdown and Spectre?

as you know, intel presented more desktop cpus this week. Are they immune to Meltdown and Spectre or are as vulnerable as the previous cofee lake cpus?

no. that come later in the year

It's exactly same design as previous Coffee Lake, just different speeds, so they have all the same bugs.

None are so far. Just update your BIOS to the latest version and you should be good and protected

Is that software fix, doesn't that mean that cpu performance is reduced. ...
Buying something new that is already 'broke'. It really puts me off buying at the moment
