are the Radeon 280x drivers good ?

Hi, I am hopefully getting this card next weekend I was wondering if the drivers are good enough so I wont have any problems or should I get a 7970 ghz edition ?

I've heard they are pretty decent more or less. They seem to be pretty powerful and consume less energy.

They are fine. I've had no issues with AMD drivers since around 2008. The R9 280X is just a tweaked 7970, and those have proven to be very solid cards.
