Hello,

I'm wanting to buy the 960gb Ultra II SSD. I've looked around and haven't seen anything solid on their reliability. Can anyone tell me if these SSDs are reliable? Should I buy one expecting it to die on me in the near future or are they alright?

Thank you

Tom's Hardware published another "best ssd's" article yesterday which includes SanDisk:

I maintain and ssd database which is listed in a sticky at the very top of this forum section. Here is the link:

Scroll down to find SanDisk and any other ssd's you might be interested in. Follow the links to the technical reviews. The links to technical reviews are divided into two categories - English Language reviews and reviews in many other languages.

Did you buy one? If you did, how is it performing?

I purchased the Ultra II 240g about a week ago and I'm really happy with it but cannot get some of the bad user reviews from Amazon and newegg out of my head.

I wish someone with open a site or add a section to rate and comment on SSD drives. I want to hear from people who have been using them for over a year.

Hey, sorry but I ended up getting the 480gb intel. I'm sure Sandisk are fine really but I couldn't really fork out the extra money for a 960gb sandisk so just ended up going for the 480gb intel.

Old thread I know... but I came across this looking at reviews for this SSD on google.
I just wanted to put this out to guys worried about the drive failing after a year... they come with a 3 year warranty and let me tell you... since this drive is under Western Digitals hat, you will get the SAME RMA service as you would with WD...
WDs RMA process is soooo painless, and it only takes a couple weeks to get a replacement drive. DO NOT BE WORRIED! They will take care of you if you get a bad one.
