Question Are there any LGA 1155 that have an m.2 slot?

I currently have a i7 3770k in a GA-Z77x-UDH. I installed an m.2 using a PCIe adapter.
Even after trying everything (UEFI only, disabling CSM, and everything I could find online)
it still would not let me boot from the windows that I installed in the m.2.
I unplugged the SSD that has the current OS in as well, before installing the OS in m.2.
The only thing I can think of now is that the motherboard does not support my MVMe M.2 to boot. (bios compatibility)

Yes, it is very probable that your motherboard cannot boot from an NVMe drive.

Gigabyte didn't begin offering BIOS support for NVMe storage until Intel Series 9 chipset motherboards such as some Z97 models.
