Are There Any Memory Storage Units To Expand Memory On iPhone For Apps, etc

I just upgraded my to an iPhone 5c, but it's only 8GB and I started with even less than that. I would like to find an affordable storage solution (at least 32gb) that will not only allow me to back up pictures, videos and music, but applications as well

If you're looking for a hardware upgrade, you're looking at a new phone. Apple's on-board storage is soldered to the board and there's no expansion slot for microSD or even something proprietary.
