Question are there anyway to make headsets work using the back plug hole?

[using google in BSOD]

i don't know where should i place this thread.
my front plug hole for headsets doesn't work.
so i tried the back one.
but the only output i can hear is the music. no human voice is in.
are there anyway i could make this headset work?

Your post is not very clear.
Do you mean the headset's microphone isn't working?

So you can hear music okay through headset speaker, but you can't hear any voice through it?

You are definitely not referring to anything to do with the microphone?
