Upgrading from i7-10700k, 32gb ddr, etc. to i9-14900k, 64gb ddr5, 4090, Samsung 990 Pro, etc...
Are there best practice tweaks that should be made on Win11 with NVME's? I remember back in Win7, lots of things you had to turn off and change.
Does anyone mess with the paging file still? Do you move it to another volume (like I have 1 2gb 990 pro and 1 1tb 970 evo+)?
Do you have to change TRIM?
Do you still go out and grab the latest Intel INF setup.exe stuff?
I still plan to get the GeForce drivers, as I figure that makes a big diff over doing whatever Windows ships with?
Is there anything that you can recommend I need to look into to basically maximize performance for this that isn't pushing the envelope more like CPU OC etc?
Thank you.
