Are there problems with Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming's DVI-D port?

I see several threads that all complain about the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 not detecting monitors plugged in via the DVI-D port.

Did you guys have the same problem and what do you suggest I do?

The monitor I'll be getting is the Qnix QX2710.

it usualy rare and doesnt happen...

if it does then get it RMA'd quickly since you will have warranty.. not a big deal
