Are There Shorter Stand Off Screws?

Looking too see if they're are shorter stand off screws. So far I can only find one size. If they do exist, what's the suggested minimal clearance I need to avoid connection with the motherboard tray? CPU cooler hits case window. I need only a 1-2 mm.

stand off screws are standard. this is so the motherboard lines up with the rear I/O panel on your case and so all cards line up with the pci covers. if you changed this distance things would not line up.

yeah i didnt even think of that. DUH lol. Looks like Ill be looking for a new cooler.
