Are these 19" NEC and MITSUBISHI the same monitors

Are these two monitors exactly the same just the logo is different. If not which of the two is better in overall quality e.g text and graphics. Thanks for any insight, that will clear up my confusion...

Mitsubishi and NEC are partner corporations. However, they do sell products under seperate names. NEC is reserved for the high end hardware, where as Mitsubishi is for the little lower. They are both exceptionally good (I have a NEC FE700+, its amazing) It is like Sony and Aiwa, where Sony and Aiwa have the same relationship as NEC and Mitsubishi.

Go for the NEC one because of the higer res. and refresh rate. The super bright mode is also pretty cool. It allows one to change the brightness of colour easily.

The detailed spec sheets are exactly the same, word for word, spec for spec, frequency for frequency. I'd say they are the same monitor.
