Please don't mix and match rams. It only adds mess to an already clean environment. If you're looking for a ram upgrade, sell the ram and pick up a dual channel ram kit, one which complies to your laptop's specs. Speaking of laptop, you forgot to include the make and model of your laptop. An SKU would help us two fold.
