Just got my 7950 in, slightly underwhelmed by it. Its the boost version so the stock OC is 925Mhz, and its not a great deal better than the 7850 I had when comparing with Unigine.

The 7850 I had got this at 1150 core clock, memory clock was something like 5400.

I mean, comparatively its whisper quiet, the 7850 was like a hoover at those speeds, so at-least there's that, but is there anything wrong with those benchmarks? I expected them to be a little higher considering the price difference.

Thanks.

I suppose so, but the benchmark linked of the 7850 was with Unigine maxed at 1920x1080, and it only scores 100 more. Don't really feel like OCing it for now until a bit later when more demanding games hit. I suppose I cant complain too much since I'm comparing a card that was overvolted and a few MHz more crashes it, to a card that is only a tiny factory OC. More annoyed about the coil whine I'm (hopefully) RMAing it for.

Thanks.

Yea sorry I should have explained, I don't have that 7850 anymore and the image is just what I could find of the benchmark results I saved of it. The first image under the 7950 list is a direct comparison.
