I have ~100$ that I would like to spend to upgrade my PC. I use my PC mainly for playing CS (currently runs 5, and Black ops 3 (runs OK at 60fps on low settings but poorly when I go for 144), video editing, and streaming.
My current specs are:
-i5 4670k stock
-GTX 760
-8gb RAM(2x4gb kit) @1600mhz
-z97 Pro4
-1tb WD Blue
-0.5tb WD Blue
-Win10
Upgrades I Plan On Getting:
-Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB
-PNY CS1311 120 GB SSD
-CRYORIG H7

I am hoping to be able to OC my CPU to maybe 4.0ghz or maybe just 3.8 or something like that. I am also hoping to be able to play games with my chrome tabs without maxing out my RAM usage and also some faster program speeds. Do you guys have any comments or other thoughts about my plans? Anything better for cheaper or similar price? Anything else? All would be appreciated. Thanks!

There's no guarantee that adding a 2x4GB set will work with your old DRAM (which isn't listed) even if it's another set of the same Fury model. Might be even less if it's a different brand or model as the Fury operate off PnP where all other DRAM run off of XMP. The H7 is a great idea especially if using a stock cooler 😉 And an SSD is always good

Currently running programs I always have in the background I am at 52% usage. When I get into games I have been maxing it out and I am thinking it may be responsible for some lag spikes as neither my CPU or GPU are maxing out but RAM is. Thanks for the input!

is the 8 gig a single stick or a set of two?

I was going for a single but apparently there's some problems with that. Now I am going with a 2x4gb set to add to my 2x4gb set.
