Question Are these BIOS updates Beta versions?

Right then, time to ask the experts again.

I'm updating my BIOS and I know only enough to avoid Beta versions. I have a Gigbyte motherboard. I've learned to avoid , say version F4a, as it's a Beta. But what to think when there are versions F6b and F6d? Are both of these Beta versions? Do I simply wait for version F7?

Which MB ? Can't generalize, you have to look up BIOS versions for particular MB at it's manufacturer's site. jugging by name format, it's probably Gigabyte so you have to include MB revision too.
PS, even if beta it doesn't mean it's bad.
