Hey, looking to make an sli setup and I got these two graphics cards, are they compatible together?

It should work fine as long as both cards are the same model (GTX 1080). I have read 1 or 2 threads where people have had issues mixing brands in sli but usually it works. The fastest card downclocks to the speed of the slower card.

You are aware of the downsides and limitations of sli?
