On a budget and been trying to put it down as much as I can, anymore advice would be great.
Im looking to play & record new release games on either maximum or high quality.
Is this a good setup? Dont want to spend more than £1000 with including 2 monitors

A different way.

For if you are really into overclocking,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2zYRB
this motherboard has 2 x16pcie lanes, with the other when placing two cards they both go to x8.
Just a better cooler.
The FX 8320 instead of the FX 8350,to save some money.

With these systems you at least can get a good monitor in under budget. It has dvi and hdmi,so you should be able to connect xbox and pc at the same time.

I see that you've already started a new thread so i won't answer again here. It's all double work.

Nice choices' VIC40........

- That sets him up proper for Dual GPU's in future (PSU is plenty big and motherboard is proper to support....)
- Nice bit oh cooler in the EVO for some OCing too....
- GTX 770 plays just about any game on higher settings....

I'm not a big convert to SSD's yet so I might skip it and get a bigger/better monitor..... BUT, that's just my preference.

Nah dw I'm still looking and taking all these into consideration :) just trying to find the best solution since it's so much money :p I do really like the setup! I was under the impression that Intel would be better than AMD in terms of
Gaming & recording, is that true? However if that setup works for all my needs I see no other reason but to go for it :p
Also is this setup compatible for dual HD monitors & is the monitor on the list compatible for it also?
Thanks :D

bump - Thinking of buying these components tonight, will AMD be good enough for me playing & recording in HD? & will I be able to use dual monitors with this setup? If so, what monitors would be best (I do have a budget of £250 for monitors... so around £125 each if possible!)
Thanks! :)

When spending money like that you should be more patient.

I found this thread and it seems i'm not entirely wright (to me it's about budget too),
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1715591/processor-gaming-recording-amd-8350-intel.html
it seems that intel probably is better for what you want with your pc.

So i made another list and you will be a little over budget than,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2AiAj

I still think that the monitor is a good choice if you want nice colors too (it's an ips panel),with overdrive on it should be fast enough for games as well.

The choice is yours.

Ahh thanks! it's a tough one when it comes to AMD vs Intel :/ yeah I'll defo have to sleep on it! I'm pretty happy with the rest've the build, just a couple of things I have to look into before I fully go for buying everything!

It's indeed tough.
In the end it's probably just be about a few fps differnce.

This is something i found about bf4,
http://pclab.pl/zdjecia/artykuly/chaostheory/2013/10/bf4_beta/charts/bf4_cpu_geforce.png
but you just have to wait and see if you get your FX 8350 (if you would get it) to those overclocks. It might just need something better than a hyper 212 evo for that and it always depends on the chip you get. Some just go higher than others.

Ahh that's a useful link! Thanks! Yeah I think I'm gunna go for the i5 4770k, purely for price & performance reasons, but the rest of the setup I think will work well! :D
In getting rid of the windows 8 as well as my friends got a copy of windows 7 I can use.. So I'm adding a cheap optical drive so I can install it, gives me a little extra money to spend on perhaps better monitors as I'm still not 100% on them! As well, does my graphics card prevent me from having dual monitors? I read a post not long back about how some cards don't support dual hd monitors?
Thanks :D
