I suggest an EVGA card cause of the warranties and then as for the motherboard..........wait where is the motherboard??

Should be fine. Given the AM3+ processor I don't know of any AM3+ motherboard that doesn't have at least one PCI-E 16x slot. Although you didn't list a motherboard though.
