Aloha fellow pc builders. I have a question. I have this motherboard (GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z370 (WiFi AC) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard) and was curious if ti was compatible with this drive? https://www.amazon.com/XPG-SX8200-G...scsubtag=34a0ce2a-b5a3-4bcb-9100-bcca3a2423fc

When I put it in pcpartpicker it says there could be compatiblility issues:

Note:Some physical dimension restrictions cannot (yet) be automatically checked, such as cpu cooler / RAM clearance with modules using tall heat spreaders.

Note:The motherboard M.2 slot #2 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled.

Note:The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports are disabled.

I'm not sure what that means? Thanks for the help!

Solution
It will work with that motherboard, as for the "errors" all it means is that once that M.2 is connected then one of your SATA ports is disabled (no different then using a SATA SSD but M.2 NVMe is faster).
