●AMD Ryzen 5 2600x 3.6 Ghz 6-core processor

●MSI- B450 gaming pro carbon AC AM4 ATX motherboard

●Corsair- Vengence LPX 16GB (2×8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

●Western Digital- Blue 500GB M.2- 2280 SSD

●MSI GeForce GTX 1060 gaming X 6 GB Video Card

*Update: as per suggestions, I changed the video card to a "MSI GeForce GTX 1660 6GB Gaming X Video Card"

Others:
LG GH24NSD1 CD/DVD writer
Corsair Mid tower ATX case.

If the main components are not compatible(for example: I'm not sure the B450 motherboard supports pinnacle ridge), please let me know. If they are compatible, I would like suggestions on the case, writer and power supply. Thank you in advance.

Generally people like this for a PSU

Everything seems compatible, although its not a great M2 SSD you have there.
Of course if you can afford a Samsung EVO Plus - it would be better.
1060 is old - you should change that to 1660
Thanks. I'd look into the 1660. But, Samsung evo is a bit out of my range. The one chosen had pretty good reviews on parts picker and new egg. Could you suggest a lower prices SSD?

It's not that it's a bad SSD, just that it's not the best. It'll still be fast at loading games and Windows itself. As for the case, it is a lot down to personal preference. Of course, to need one that your Motherboard will fit into, and having enough space to put drives in is good obviously, but really as long as it's got these and good airflow then it is down to the one you like the look of most. Reviews of specific cases on YouTube should cover the airflow of them.

I've checked the space to put in drives, but it's the airflow that's making it complicated. Thank you for your response.

This is preferred components for my first build, and is the motherboard compatible with all the other components? (Is it compatiple with pinnacle ridge, will it support 3200 memory speed without overclocking, etc......) and is it a overall great motherboard?

I have a Ryzen 5 2600 OC'd and I will not be looking at the 3000 series until the end of the year.
My current setup does everything I need it to and it does it Very well.
But if you wait a few weeks you may be able to get a 2000 series CPU for less than they sell for now or possibly a 3000 series for the same price.

And Yes that MSI MB reviews Very well and I also recommend the 1660 Ti if you can afford one.

This is the above configuration I'm planning to build. And I would like your thoughts and suggestions on this. I am thinking about getting an 1660 Ti instead of the non-Ti one. But, what do you think of the non-ti version and would it be a good decision to choose the Ti version

This is your third post now with the same thing...maybe more
